Mercury is a d*ck!
–
This week’s been such an adventure! LOL. Travelling during Mercury Retrograde can make your life seem like a slapstick comedy movie! My train had a technical problem and had like 157 stops during the first hours of the trip. As a result, we actually got to Vienna THREE hours late!!! LOL.
–
We got to the apartment, which is just gorgeous, but the WiFi wasn’t working, which made me update my status on Facebook and write “Mercury is a d*ck”. About 34 seconds later, I slipped in the stairs and fell down. Luckily I didn’t hurt myself. (Such a d*ck, though)

We then went to a little restaurant and I ordered a typical meal. Hmmmmm….

I have to admit, I was a bit suspiscious about the amount of oil/fat present in my plate. I tried to have a closer look, dug my fork into the knödel (the big ball) and lifted it, to assess the oiliness of the situation. Obviously, Mercury thought it would give me a more “hands on” experience: my knödel slipped from my fork and fell back into my plate with a big oily splash… on the table and all over my top. Screw you, Mercury, you really are a d*ck.

The picture actually looks much better than it actually was .

Anyway, despite everything, I am still over the moon to be here. I haven’t really taken the time to explore the surroundings yet, but I’m going to do that as soon as I press send to this email! I don’t need to SEE things though, I can already FEEL that Vienna is a great place to live.
–
And I’ve even got a teachable moment that I’d like to share with you already! You can totally get the feel of how excited I am!!!
–
So that’s all I’ve got for you now, but I’ve got a feeling there’s a loooooot more to come, so buckle up! 🙂
–
Cheers to my first newsbits from Vienna!
