As the night of the shooting stars (aka the night of San Lorenzo) is approaching, I thought I’d share something about the magic of the Universe…

Recently, I was on a thread discussing how sometimes we choose fancy titles because we’re just scared to own the fact that we’re (SPIRITUAL) LIFE COACHES, when a group member asked me this question :

WHAT KIND OF SPIRITUAL COACHING DO YOU OFFER?

I wasn’t sure how to reply. So I went for a walk, meditated, and decided to write my answer from the heart :

“Dear A, your question makes me smile because it brings me back to what we were talking about before : the fear of stepping into our mission.
–
I first started with packages with predefined sessions. To “protect” myself from being in the situation of not knowing what to say in front of a client. But as I started coaching, I realised there was a voice inside me that wanted to break free from these predefined structures I had set. A voice that HAD something to say.

In the past months I have been exploring a lot the spiritual dimension of my coaching. And accepting it. So to answer your question, what do I offer as a spiritual coach?

I open up space for you to experience Spirit (Higher Power/ Source/ God/ the Universe) first hand. Not as that invisible mysterious force that exists somewhere, but as that amazing energy that is part and parcel of your everyday life and works with and for you.

How that happens in concrete terms all depends on where you’re at right now. My coaching method has changed and I’ve made much more room for my intuition. Maybe that’s actually why it works. I use a lot of images. And right now, the image I have is that as I connect with the Source to coach you, as its energy flows through me, I hold my hand out to you and when you take it, it will flow through you as well.

I feel this is important especially for coaches, because when we stay stuck in our heads trying to be there, focused on “where to jump in and ask the killer question, and BOOM! Client gets A-ha moment and yayyy we can relax”, we are doing a disservice both to ourselves and our clients.

It may seem like a lot of “charabia” to you but, I have spent so much time in my head, trying to control things, to make sense of things, that I went completely off track. Our heart is what connects us to the Universe. It is that little part of Universe inside of us. And what I have learned is to let go, tune in and listen.”

My focus has changed lately, and so has my voice. I have dug a little deeper and found a new clearer and warmer space. And this is what I want to share with you.
