Once again, here’s another piece of the real truth…

Once again, here’s another piece of the real truth:

Even though it looks like it, I didn’t quit drinking from one day to another. Well, not exactly.

It’s true, on December 26, 2015, I did wake up hungover one time too many and decided this just had to stop.

BUT here are a few other facts:

On September 11, 2014, after I drove into a roundabout, getting away with only a burst tyre (from the impact) and a broken right rear view mirror (from hitting the sign post), I realised I needed a healthier way to deal with my stress and everything else that was going on in my life. Within a couple of days, I enrolled in tennis lessons, and started therapy.

Did that do it? No. I still had drunken episodes after that, that were among the worst of my life.

In fact, on July 2nd, 2015, after another disastrous drunken night out, I was desperate and knew that I needed to do something more. That’s when I got on my knees and prayed. Literally. I got on my knees and begged the Universe for help. It came in the shape of Gabby Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie Masterclass.

Did that do it for me? No. I still had a couple of drunken episodes following that, that left me mortified.

But I kept going and doing the work. The inner work. Taking the time to finally listen. Letting old wounds be heard. And heal.

And that’s how I got to that famous December 26 morning. And that’s why when I read Annie Grace’s This Naked Mind, the information finally sank in. Because I was READY.

And that’s when the real transformation took place. That’s when I got to reclaim my power and challenge my fears. BIG TIME.

And every time I did, showed me how powerful I am. As yogi Bhajan says, “we are as powerful as we think we are”.

I got to where I am today because I took the time to explore my Self and to allow for healing. Before, and most of all, AFTER I quit drinking.

I got to where I am today because after a lifetime of limiting beliefs and self-sabotage, I finally took the time to get to know my Self, and give her the chance to believe in her dreams, believe in her potential, believe in Her, full stop.

And you know what happened then?

Everything, and more, became possible.

In my course, BYOB – Be Your Own Booze, I teach women to reclaim their Inner Power and transform their reality. It’s never too late to write a happy ending. You own the power to make it happen. Say YES and let today be the first day of your new life in HD.
